Weekly Favorites

This past week has been awesome,

Chris has been home & Cam has never been

more occupied thanks to all of her new birthday presents ;)

AND because:

I.

 Yep, we pulled the trigger & the tree is up.

There's only 6 more Fridays now until Christmas!

II.

These bibs from Tommee Tippee

are awesome, if you hate sweeping after every

single meal that your child eats/spills on the floor

these are for you!

III.

This shirt from Alley + Rae couldn't be more

perfect for this little nugget, so cute & such good quality

We also got this one & I cannot WAIT for her to wear it

IV.

The fact that our town has a Mom2Mom Facebook group.

We live in a pretty big town & I love the closeness

it makes between the moms, if I ever have a question

about ANYTHING, I can just hop on & ask the other moms

& 99.9% of the time I will get an answer.

We also have a resale group for kids clothes & toys,

Cam has more things than I'd like to say from this group, HA.

V.

Camdyn's second 1st birthday party is this Sunday

& I can't wait to see all of our friendys!

I also decided that instead of a cake for this party

will we have a PILE OF DONUTS, YES.

Camdyn's First Birthday Party

I absolutely love that Camdyn's birthday is right in the midst

of all of the holidays, it just makes this time of year THAT much better.

Her onesie I made with Scribble 3D Fabric Paint from Michaels

The tutu I made with peach tulle that I ordered on Amazon

& a think elastic from Michaels

Bottle Labels 

I decided to stick to her nursery colors

as the theme for the party & to keep it pretty simple.

 I revolved the party mainly around the food table

because, let's be real, the food is the best part of any party ;)

I ordered the subs from a local sub shop, made some pasta salad

& some buffalo chicken dip & stuck some cheese & Triscuits on there.

The drink dispenser has some peach tea in it, just to stick with the theme :)

The wooden high chair in the corner

we got from a yard sale for $10!

Painted it white & turned it into a

total score for these awesome pictures:

 My mom made us the cake, we just used regular boxed cake mix

& some white icing dyed with icing color from Michaels.

We also had some orange sorbet ice cream for dessert, because

it's the best & orange is almost peach, right?

 ^ There's my momma.

If you can see waaaay back there, hanging down from the bar,

is a monthly photo banner that I made.

I printed those little squares straight off my Instagram using

the Print Studio app

Love this app so much, the quality of the photos are awesome

& they ship SO quick.

Chris came up with this cute idea for the favor bags,

we printed out tinier pictures of Camdyn right off Instagram

with the Print Studio app and attached one to every favor bag.

This way all of our guests can choose which picture they want of Cam.

I came up with the idea for the inside though, yogurt covered pretzels :)

The day turned out amazing & we had one happy & messy little babe.

Love this family of mine.

Now bring on the holidays :)

Halloween 2014

Halloween was Cam's last first holiday.

Last year on Halloween as we were sitting

down getting ready to watch the SNL Halloween special

I decided that the stomach pains I was feeling all day

were absolutely contractions, & off to the hospital we went.

There's just something about teeny babes in only a tutu

with their little milk bellies hanging over. UGH.

We started the night out trick or treating at our local food store

so mama could get some food shopping done,

best idea ever. Props to Weis.

Chris' dad is here visiting from Oklahoma

& she was attached to him the entire time

& to that lollipop in her hand ;)

After Weis we went home to eat dinner real quick then Chris

& I took Cam trick or treating around our neighborhood

while Chris' dad stayed home to hand out the candy.

It was a bit chilly (aka FREEZING) so we had to take Cam out 

of her candy corn tutu outift for trick or treating,

  luckily I had back up just in case

& she went as a little ladybug :)

 We would ring the door bell, place Cam down with her bucket

& sometimes she'd pick out our her candy, sometimes we'd pick out our her candy.

At the end of the night the bucket was full & we realized that

we had been out for almost an hour.

& that was the first time that we used our daughter

 ;)

Weekly Favorites

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Having a babe really makes the holidays

SO much more fun & exciting.

I don't think I've been this excited for Halloween

since 8th grade, okay maybe senior year of college

but still, you get the point ;)

I.

 These tutu tights will forever be my favorite

oh & the fact that our baby is drinking milk now.

Hallelujah, no more mixing bottles!

II.

My cousin is pregnant & we couldn't be more excited

for Cam to have a new little bestie cousin.

III.

These cookies from Trader Joes-

I could eat the entire thing in one sitting

 & so could Cam ;)

IV.

My fiance who picked up drawing just a few months

ago & can amazingly draw this. Like, what??

Lineman by day, artist by night.

V.

Cam's 1st birthday party is on Sunday

& I am SO excited.

Mostly because of this 5 lb bag of yogurt covered pretzels

that I ordered for the favor bags

 Seriously though, Nuts.com is amazing

I ordered these at noon on Monday & they arrived on my

doorstep at 10:30 AM on Tuesday.

VI.

IT'S HALLOWEEN!

next is Cam's birthday

& then Thanksgiving

& then Christmas.

I LOVE this time of year :)

Tutu Wearing Candy Corn

Being that the high for tomorrow is only like 55 degrees

Cam's costume may be a bit too light for trick or treating

SO, she will be wearing it today :)

Good thing we have a back up for tomorrow ;)

The Past Couple of Weeks

With Chris working weekends again (BOO!)

our weekends haven't been TOO eventful

except for last weekend of course

The day after we got engaged Cam was sick & I had the worst hair appointment of my life.

 

Yep, my roots were dyed orange. Why, I do not know.

But don't worry the next day Cam's fever was gone & she was back to her

normal, happy self & so were my roots ;)

 We FINALLY took the plunge & invested in an awesome camera

so we've been putting that to good use this past week, like so,

She gets her Packers genes from her Pop-pop ;)

Anyway, back to party planning I go, I cannot believe my 

babe is going to be ONE on Sunday!
