Friday Love

I don't know about you guys but over in our household we get SO excited for some fall TV
I've decided to round up some of our favorites (no spoilers, don't worry)

Sons of Anarchy // September 9 @ 10 PM
This show is hands down our favorite
I don't know what it is (probably Charlie Hunnam's face & badassery)
but this show is just so addicting & this being the last season makes me SO sad

The Voice // September 22 @ 8 PM
We started watching this last year during season 5 & became obsessed
& I know I'm going to be even more obsessed now that Gwen is a judge
HOLLABACK GIRL

Grey's Anatomy // September 25 @ 8 PM
This is probably the only drama I will ever watch
So much goes on every episode & it's just so unrealistic that I love it

How To Get Away With Murder // September 25 @ 10 PM
This is a new one that just looks so interesting
Hopefully it's a win!

American Horror Story // October 15 @ 10 PM
The first season was awesome
Second was just confusing
Third was okay
The theme of this season looks terrifying so I hope so

Can't wait to sit our butts on the couch with some hot choco & enjoy all of these shows :)

10 Months

Double digits, baby!
I seriously cannot believe Cam is 10 months.
This summer FLEW by. We were SO busy (hence the lack of blogging) but we are so ready for fall over here :) & more blogging, lots more.

The hair is officially long enough for me to do ^^ this to, I'm obsessed.
Since her bangs are almost in her eyes now we're going to have to do this hairstyle more often & I'm not complaining.

Or we do the side swept bang/preppy boy hairstyle.

 *Don't mind my bra straps*
Thism=ont-hfb
(blogging with a baby)
ANYWAY, this month we've been working on standing & she's even taken TWO, yep two, steps!
Since Chris is back at work he wanted to make sure that he didn't miss those first steps :)

Weight: 16 lbs at her 9 month appointment

Height: 27 inches

Diet: For breakfast she'll usually have toast or a waffle & some banana
Lunch is usually cheese, some sort of bread & some peas or carrots
For dinner she'll eat whatever we eat- so far her favorite has been pulled pork & usually have mandarin oranges

Sleep: Morning nap happens around 10 & lasts 1-2 hours
Afternoon nap happens around 3:30 & usually lasts 90 minutes
Bedtime is anywhere between 7-8 depending on her naps that day & how sleepy she's acting
She'll sleep all the way through the night until 7-8 AM

Milestones: Stood & danced for about 20 seconds
Waves
Claps & sounds like she's saying "YAY"- I'm convinced
Took two steps!
Eats everything
Knows how to put the circle shape into the corresponding hole in one of her toys
I THINK I see a little tip of a tooth on top & based off her attitude for a week straight a few weeks ago I think I'm right

Favs: Chris
Aiyley & Cayden
Mandarin oranges
Pulled pork
Being held
The wind blowing in her face
Dogs!
Using our dining room chairs as walkers
Cord, remotes, cell phones, basically anything she's not supposed to put in her mouth, in it goes.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Stuffed animals

Not So Favs: Getting dressed
Being put in her gated play yard
Hearing the word "no" .. she growls
Teething
When she wakes up in the morning & her bottle isn't ready

I've started planning her 1st birthday party & am SO excited.
I'm doing tons of DIY projects & I'll be sharing them as I go :)

Ocean City 2014

A couple of weeks ago we went on our first beach vacation as a family of 3 :)
Camdyn loved it & LOVED being around all of our family for a whole week

We brought her giant beach bucket, filled it with water &  plopped it into a hole in the sand so that she could easily reach- this occupied her for hours minutes ;)
I recommend getting a Sportbrella- the thing is awesome & so spacious. It has stakes that go into the ground so it's like an umbrella turned into a half tent.
We had bought a pop up tent for Cam thinking that she would stay inside but nope that thing was way too secluded for her so the Sportbrella was perfect because she still felt like she was part of the group

She liked the ocean for the most part, she didn't like it on the days that it was -500 degrees.
Chris & I really hope that she loves the ocean as she grows up because we love it, well I love the shallow part ;)

As long as Chris is with her I think she'll love anything :)

Notice our little photo bomber in the right picture

The boardwalk was another huge success- we went almost every night & she did not get sick of it one bit.  She just loves people watching so a busy boardwalk is her sanctuary
& she loved watching her little aunt and uncle go on rides
We didn't bring her on any but mommy went on some for her ;)
Chris isn't a ride person so this will be my forte.
Chris will do the ocean & I'll do the rides :)

OH, I almost forgot to mention that we saw the world's biggest elephant- no big deal.

9 Months

Month 9 has been a crazy one that's for sure & this girl has been such a trooper.
I think we've been in the car a total of 4 days this entire month, that's like 48 hours.
So for her first milestone hit this month Cam has become a pro roadtripper :)

Her next milestone is that we are completely done nursing :(
I was excited about it, then I was sad, then I was excited again & so on
But I am now completely satisfied with where we are & so is she :)

We've started giving her REAL food & she is VERY happy about it.
The other day as I was feed her purees she was literally crying- she hates them.
She wants what we eat & she wants it ALL THE TIME.
Our girl is a little piggy

Chris has been home a lot this month & her daddy obsession has just grown even more.

Weight, Height, etc: Her 9 month appointment is this week so we'll find out then.

Diet: I'd say she drinks about 24 ounces of formula in a day- she'll usually drink 4-6 ounces at a time
Like I said, we've been shying away from the purees now & giving her real food- so far she's had pasta, waffles, bread, tortilla, mashed potatoes (I think these were her favorite), beef, chicken, cheerios, cheese (another favorite)

Sleep: I don't want to jinx myself but AMAZING. She's been sleeping through the night since the first time I stuck her in her crib. Sometimes she'll wake up & fuss a little but she just needs to find her paci & stick it back in & she's good- for this reason I stick 3 different pacis throughout her crib so she has an easier time finding one :)
Before we went down on our beach vacation I was SO nervous about how she would sleep at night in her pack and play in a new room, & of course she slept even better than at home.  I made sure to bring her music box, fan & night light so I could set up just as we do at home & I think that helped a lot. But I'm sure the sun & beach playing also tired her out quite a bit :)

Milestones: She can stand on her own! The longest she's gone was like 15 seconds
Cruising around like a pro
Finally figured her walker out & it's the cutest thing ever
Waves, not really on demand but she does it nonetheless :)
Has her two bottom teeth
Sleeping like a baby ;)
First road trip
First beach vacation
Only uses her paci at night

Favs: Shaking her head
Poking her tongue in and out like a lizard
FOOD
Chris
Aiyley & Cayden
Water bottles
Going on walks in her stroller
Exploring

Not So Favs: Her new playpen
Getting changed
Holding still

The Past Couple of Weeks

Having Chris home on the weekends has been AMAZING.
Camdyn really does know when her daddy is home & she loves it

We've been having lots of pool days over at Meem's (my grandma's)
Side note: Chris has since fixed his worker's tan ;)

We've hit up a few carnivals & fairs in our area
& I went on my first ride of the summer - I love rides & last summer since I was pregnant I couldn't go on any, it was torture.

Cam had her first beach day.
I was SO nervous between her missing naps & all of the crap that I had to load onto the beach but it ended up being pretty darn easy (thanks to aunt Allison & aunt Sam)
Needless to say she loved the ocean & the sand *phew*

& we've been ending lots of our nights with walks through our neighborhood :)

We have so much to look forward to in the next couple of weeks: Chris' birthday is on Wednesday, my cousin & her fiancee are coming to stay with us for 4th of July weekend & then the following weekend we leave for our first beach week of the summer in Ocean City.
Having a babe to enjoy all of these things with seriously makes it THAT MUCH better.

Father's Day Weekend Love

We started off this weekend by caging this girl, seriously now that she can crawl she crawls. EVERYWHERE. Needless to say she's not a huge fan but I think she's getting used to it :)
Caging her allowed us to finish Breaking Bad- which we were binge watching on Netflix for about a month. I have to say I wasn't a fan at first but the last two seasons were pretty bomb.

Saturday afternoon we met my dad & Bev for lunch at Gabriel's Fountain. Their fries. That's all.

On Father's Day my mom & Brett had a barbeque at their house.

Cam is so lucky to have THREE Grandfathers & one great grandfather, or Poppoppop as she calls him ;)
My baby sister randomly likes to jump into every picture. She's so cute.

Yep, those are her little toes back there.

:)

7 Months

It cracks me up that Camdyn looks exactly the same from about 3 months on, just with a little more hair & a little more smile :)

Obviously I'm gonna say that this was the best month yet & it has definitely been the most productive month as far as her motor skills go. She's gotten a lot of stuff down; i.e. crawling & sitting up without toppling over every 20 seconds

Not to mention sleeping through the night in her crib AND pulling herself up to stand.

Now that she can crawl she has become my new shadow & is either on my hip or right under my toes all hours of the day. Unless Chris is home, then she's completely happy being right underneath his toes all day :)

She doesn't hate grass! & she loves the wind blowing in her face; seriously, she giggles non stop.

My favorite part about this month is that she finally fits into all of her absolutely adorable little summer clothes from Carter's that I went a little out of control & splurged on.
This mint romper with seahorses on it, I'm in love.
& here it is in a tunic - SO CUTE.

Weight: I'm guessing that she's around 15-16 lbs

Diet: We are officially, slowly transitioning to formula & bottles. It's going really well & she seems to really like the formula, we've been using the Earth's Best organic.  It seems that she eats about 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours.
We also feed her solids at least once a day, usually around 5-6  PM & sometimes as a snack in the middle of the day if she's begging me for my snack.
We've been sticking to 3 foods: sweet potatoes, peas & pears. I think in the next couple weeks I want to try bananas & apples again with her & introduce carrots, YUM.
The girl is definitely a foodie like her parents.

Sleep: About 2 1/2 weeks ago I stuck her in her crib for the first time & it was all a dream since then, literally.  She sleeps 10-12 hours STRAIGHT THROUGH.
We usually put her down for bed around 7-8 PM & she'll wake up between 6-8 AM.
She's down to 2 naps a day, both only lasting about an hour as of late but I'll take the short naps for the whole night's sleep :)

Milestones: Sleeps through the night
Real crawling!
Can pull herself up to stand
Drinks from bottles
Regularly eats solids

Favs: When Chris is home
Eating
Being carried
The wind. Or the air vents will suffice if we can't go outside
Chasing me around the house
Playing with whatever Chris & I are always holding; i.e. remote, iPhone, red solo cup
Her paci

Not So Favs: Putting her sleep sack on before bedtime
When she's hungry & then I walk away to make her a bottle; she needs to get used to that one :)
Teething
When she can't figure out how to sit back down after standing herself up. So frustrating yet so cute.
Hitting her head, which she does at least 3 times a day now that she's on the move
