The Past Couple of Weeks

Having Chris home on the weekends has been AMAZING.
Camdyn really does know when her daddy is home & she loves it

We've been having lots of pool days over at Meem's (my grandma's)
Side note: Chris has since fixed his worker's tan ;)

We've hit up a few carnivals & fairs in our area
& I went on my first ride of the summer - I love rides & last summer since I was pregnant I couldn't go on any, it was torture.

Cam had her first beach day.
I was SO nervous between her missing naps & all of the crap that I had to load onto the beach but it ended up being pretty darn easy (thanks to aunt Allison & aunt Sam)
Needless to say she loved the ocean & the sand *phew*

& we've been ending lots of our nights with walks through our neighborhood :)

We have so much to look forward to in the next couple of weeks: Chris' birthday is on Wednesday, my cousin & her fiancee are coming to stay with us for 4th of July weekend & then the following weekend we leave for our first beach week of the summer in Ocean City.
Having a babe to enjoy all of these things with seriously makes it THAT MUCH better.

Father's Day Weekend Love

We started off this weekend by caging this girl, seriously now that she can crawl she crawls. EVERYWHERE. Needless to say she's not a huge fan but I think she's getting used to it :)
Caging her allowed us to finish Breaking Bad- which we were binge watching on Netflix for about a month. I have to say I wasn't a fan at first but the last two seasons were pretty bomb.

Saturday afternoon we met my dad & Bev for lunch at Gabriel's Fountain. Their fries. That's all.

On Father's Day my mom & Brett had a barbeque at their house.

Cam is so lucky to have THREE Grandfathers & one great grandfather, or Poppoppop as she calls him ;)
My baby sister randomly likes to jump into every picture. She's so cute.

Yep, those are her little toes back there.

7 Months

It cracks me up that Camdyn looks exactly the same from about 3 months on, just with a little more hair & a little more smile :)

Obviously I'm gonna say that this was the best month yet & it has definitely been the most productive month as far as her motor skills go. She's gotten a lot of stuff down; i.e. crawling & sitting up without toppling over every 20 seconds

Not to mention sleeping through the night in her crib AND pulling herself up to stand.

Now that she can crawl she has become my new shadow & is either on my hip or right under my toes all hours of the day. Unless Chris is home, then she's completely happy being right underneath his toes all day :)

She doesn't hate grass! & she loves the wind blowing in her face; seriously, she giggles non stop.

My favorite part about this month is that she finally fits into all of her absolutely adorable little summer clothes from Carter's that I went a little out of control & splurged on.
This mint romper with seahorses on it, I'm in love.
& here it is in a tunic - SO CUTE.

Weight: I'm guessing that she's around 15-16 lbs

Diet: We are officially, slowly transitioning to formula & bottles. It's going really well & she seems to really like the formula, we've been using the Earth's Best organic.  It seems that she eats about 4-6 ounces every 3-4 hours.
We also feed her solids at least once a day, usually around 5-6  PM & sometimes as a snack in the middle of the day if she's begging me for my snack.
We've been sticking to 3 foods: sweet potatoes, peas & pears. I think in the next couple weeks I want to try bananas & apples again with her & introduce carrots, YUM.
The girl is definitely a foodie like her parents.

Sleep: About 2 1/2 weeks ago I stuck her in her crib for the first time & it was all a dream since then, literally.  She sleeps 10-12 hours STRAIGHT THROUGH.
We usually put her down for bed around 7-8 PM & she'll wake up between 6-8 AM.
She's down to 2 naps a day, both only lasting about an hour as of late but I'll take the short naps for the whole night's sleep :)

Milestones: Sleeps through the night
Real crawling!
Can pull herself up to stand
Drinks from bottles
Regularly eats solids

Favs: When Chris is home
Eating
Being carried
The wind. Or the air vents will suffice if we can't go outside
Chasing me around the house
Playing with whatever Chris & I are always holding; i.e. remote, iPhone, red solo cup
Her paci

Not So Favs: Putting her sleep sack on before bedtime
When she's hungry & then I walk away to make her a bottle; she needs to get used to that one :)
Teething
When she can't figure out how to sit back down after standing herself up. So frustrating yet so cute.
Hitting her head, which she does at least 3 times a day now that she's on the move
